1. SPONSOR:  The India with Meherwan Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Chai Pani Restaurant Group, LLC (“Sponsor”). The publisher and author are not sponsors or administrators of the Sweepstakes.
2. ELIGIBILITY:  The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry, excluding residents of New York and Florida as of the Sweepstakes start date. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members or persons living in the same household are not eligible.
3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:  The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time on May 8, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on June 8, 2026, subject to extension as provided in these Official Rules (the “Entry Period”).
4. HOW TO ENTER:

(a) Purchase Entry:  Enter by uploading a valid order receipt for The No. 1 Best Indian Cookbook by Meherwan Irani and completing the online entry form at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfCNPA8fA9g-ggnnj6oG-1EPM18nzX5nHXGdsPN8LbjDJLQoQ/viewform 

In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address used for entry.

(b) Alternate Method of Entry (No Purchase Required):  To enter without making a purchase, hand-print your full name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number on a postcard and mail to:

Postcards must be postmarked by June 8, 2026 and received by June 13, 2026.

Limit one (1) entry per person regardless of method of entry.

Automated entries are prohibited. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

5. PRIZES:  

Up to four (4) Grand Prizes will be awarded.  Each Grand Prize consists of one (1) participant spot on a curated group travel experience in India hosted by Meherwan Irani (the “Trip”). 

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize: $2,000 USD
Total ARV of all Grand Prizes: $8,000 USD

Four (4) Runner-up Prizes will be awarded. Each Runner-Up Prize consists of one (1) non-transferable access pass for a single participant to attend, via live stream, a master cooking class conducted by Meherwan Irani, on a date and time determined by Sponsor.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Runner-Up Prize: $500 USD
Total ARV of all Runner-Up Prizes: $2,000 USD

Important Grand Prize Conditions:

• The Trip does not include travel to/from departure airport within the United States and is the sole responsibility of the winner. 
• Travel dates, itinerary, and accommodations are determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and are subject to change. 
• Winner must travel on the dates specified by Sponsor and may not deviate in any way from the itinerary determined by Sponsor.  Noncompliance constitutes a forfeiture of the Grand Prize. 
• If Meherwan Irani is unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable host or experience of equal or greater value. 
• Winner is responsible for all expenses not expressly included, including but not limited to: 

• All airfare and transportation to/from departure airport 

• Travel documents (including passport and visas) 

• Travel and health insurance (winner must show Sponsor proof of same before traveling)

• Personal expenses, gratuities, and incidentals 

• Winner must have a valid passport and is solely responsible for complying with all international travel requirements. 
• Winner may be required to share double-occupancy hotel rooms or, if desired, to pay the cost difference for single rooms.

No substitution or transfer of Grand Prize or Runner-Up Prize is permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion.

All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 as required by law.

Due to the nature of the Grand Prize, potential winners may be subject to a background and conduct review. Failure to cooperate or meet eligibility standards may result in disqualification. 

6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:
   The number of Grand Prize winners will be determined based on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Sponsor will award one (1) Grand Prize for every 5,000 eligible entries received, up to a maximum of four (4) Grand Prizes. A minimum of one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded regardless of the total number of eligible entries received. Four (4) Runner-up Prizes will also be awarded. All prizes will be awarded via random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Random drawings will be conducted on or about June 30, 2026 by the Sponsor or its designated representative. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received and the number of prizes available. Potential winners will be notified by email and may also be contacted by phone. Potential winners must respond within three (3) days of initial notification attempt. Failure to respond within the required time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from among all remaining eligible entries. Sponsor may select up to three (3) alternate winners for each prize, in the event of disqualification or non-response. Potential winners may be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where permitted by law, a Publicity Release in order to claim a prize.
7. PUBLICITY:  Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of a prize constitutes a non-exclusive, sub-licensable and assignable license for Sponsor to use entrant’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, social media handles, and statements for promotional purposes in any media now known or later discovered, worldwide and in perpetuity, without review, notice, approval or further compensation.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS:  Sponsor may, after the Sweepstakes begins, expand eligibility to additional jurisdictions upon completion of any required registrations, filings, or bonding requirements, and may extend the Entry Period in connection therewith. Any such expansion or extension will be announced on the Sweepstakes landing page. The Sweepstakes will be administered in accordance with these Official Rules, including this provision.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, or if Sponsor receives an insufficient number of eligible entries. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incorrect, incomplete, or misdirected entries or for technical failures of any kind.  Incomplete or illegible entries will be void.  In the event of any inconsistency between these Official Rules and any disclosure or other statement contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, these Official Rules will govern. 
9. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:  By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates from any claims arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize, including, but not limited to, claims related to any cancellations, delays, postponements, substitutions or changes in services. Winners of a Grand Prize may be required to sign additional travel-related waivers prior to participation in the Trip.
10. PRIVACY:  Information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy [https://pos.toasttab.com/privacy] and may be shared with third parties involved in administering the Sweepstakes.  By participating, entrants acknowledge having read Sponsor’s privacy policy.
11. DISPUTES:  This Sweepstakes is governed by the internal laws and judicial decisions of the State of North Carolina without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and by participating, entrants agree to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Buncombe County, North Carolina and agree that such courts have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.
